Chad Shryock

I’m a Senior Full Stack Engineer with more than 26 years of experience in software development, architecture, and operations. Over my career I’ve led engineering teams and projects for some of the most recognized names in media, music, and technology, including The Washington Post, Gannett, and SoundExchange.

At The Washington Post I led redesigns of major sections of the site and improved its speed and performance. At Gannett I developed advertising products and standards that were adopted across the industry, working with some of the largest brands in the country.

Beyond my senior and consulting roles, I’ve founded technical ventures of my own. I built and ran a live high school sports broadcasting operation that produced radio and video coverage, and developed a system that generated near real-time statistics from the action on the mat and the field.
