Cherry Hill Farm Sanctuary is a nonprofit in Batavia, New York, that gives in-need farm animals a permanent home for the rest of their lives. It specializes in draft horses and takes in the senior, disabled, abused, and overlooked, alongside goats, donkeys, mini-horses, cattle, pigs, rabbits, and a wide range of fowl. Care is built around the needs of aging animals, from daily comfort to end-of-life dignity. Beyond its own herd, the sanctuary works to educate the community on animal health and well-being at every stage, and lends a hand to local farms in times of need.
